
Kristen Anne Bell (born July 18th, 1980)[1] is an American actress and singer from the United States. She began her acting career by playing in stage productions during her time studying at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she made her Broadway stage debut in the role of Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and was in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. After starring in the action-thriller Spartan (2004) and Gracie's Choice (2004), she was praised for her performance in Gracie's Choice (2004). After that, she made her Broadway stage debut as Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer. Later she was a part of the drama for teens on television, Veronica Mars (2004). Her performance earned her critical acclaim and earned her a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actress on television. The character that she played in the 2014 movie was changed and it was revived for the 2019. Bell played the role from 2007 until 2008 in the role of Elle Bishop in Heroes, which was a drama about superheroes. Bell voiced the titular narrator on the Teen Drama Series Gossip Girl. She will reprise the role for the sequel, which will premiere in 2021. Bell was also the Showtime comedy House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell was the lead character Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading character on the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award. Bell played the character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the streaming show The Woman in the Home across the street from the Girl in the Window.
