Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican American who was raised within El Paso. She comes from a family of entertainers. Her childhood included TV stars including Karla as host of Univision's Despierta America. (1997)) and family musicians and performers. Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in the United States. SCE is committed to making safety for workers as well as security of the corporate environment a primary concern. Martinez is the head of all the programs and activities that are focused on the two aspects. Martinez gives safety professionals throughout every aspect of the business mentorship top-quality training and guidance to help them achieve the safety goals of their respective work groups. Before assuming his current role Martinez was director for Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. In the past, he was as the director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. During his 30 years at SCE Martinez has held several leadership positions in corrective action and performance improvement programs including positions in the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) focused on protecting employees as well as the general public from dangers.
