Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to explore her inner world through her cuisine. Curiosity grew in her after she left for the Long Island suburbs to explore the rich cultural diversity of Los Angeles. Carnitas, Cavatelli and various other cuisines can be found on one menu. The menu is constantly changing sensibility. What remains, however, in all of her dishes is a singular vision towards the future, while also reminiscing about the previous. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso who was influenced from her Italian American roots. It received a warm welcome. The restaurant's version of old-school Italian has been called among Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. The restaurant is frequently loved by the Scopa's customers for serving food that feels authentic and deliciously enjoyable. Lofaso trained under famous chefs and learned their advanced techniques, but was never afraid to go against her gut instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago after which she went on to work closely with celebs in several Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. In Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found a home. Her creative independence will be facilitated through this collaboration. Black Market has no one plan in sight and it is that way. The menu could start with dill potatoes chips Shishito chilies, and move on to a Korean food item called meatballs, and wings. Antonia anchors the bold range of flavors. Lofaso assessed her success in the field by her capacity to understand and remain real to her viewers. Her unforgettable performance in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her distinctiveness in the kitchen, and her skills continue to shine in front of the camera, as an expert judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup as well as in recurring role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes, in 2012, with Penguin. The book also tells the story of her challenges while she studied at The French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea, as well. Lofaso believes that all her successes stem from her love of cooking and she is able to keep a finger in the middle of this industry by focusing on the kitchen. Chefletics is her brand new, is revolutionizing how chefs dress. The brand combines fashion with practicality. Lofaso's main concern is staying committed to her goals. In this regard she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. This provides customers with an extremely personal experience.
